The Content Manager System
Tequila websites come with a content manager system that stores all the information for your site in a database. This means that you are in control of your site and it is easy for you to update and maintain your site yourself. You can log in to the system anywhere on the internet. Edit the content of your pages
Once logged in, a display of all the items on your site, whether they be products / newsletters or other items will be listed down the left of the screen. You can click on the item you want to change and then edit the details in the right hand window. The details of each item, "name", "description", "price" are all tailored to the particular customers needs.

Statistics
The system provides a number of graphs of visitor traffic to your site, covering geographical location, hits by hour/day/month/year, nationality, and software used by the visitor. The system has a very flexible tool to generate reports for people who want in-depth information about their visitors and their visitors browsing habits. This tool can be used to find out which partner sites or other advertising are delivering the hits to your site. You can see which search engines are bringing your traffic and what people are typing in to find you. This can help you tune your site to use the most effective keywords and get above the competition on the search engines

Contact Management
If your site has a contact page or a feedback form all the details will be stored by the content system. This builds a database of your customers and their preferences such as whether they would like to recieve newsletters or special offers. Contacts stored in this way can also be sent directly to your email program attached as a business card so that you can save the persons details into your address book without have to type all the details in.

Email Marketing
You can use the broadcast mail feature to send mails to all users who have used the contact form on your site. It will only send to people who have checked the box saying that they would like such mails. You can attach any documents, pictures, music etc to the mails and you can customise with your company headers, footers and logos. You can also schedule mails to be sent automatically on certain dates or in response to other criteria that you may have collected using the contact form or based on information concerning online transactions on your site.
